misster that’s a lot smaller than the other bars, it’s got decent music but it’s very very loud and there’s no outside space to escape the crowd. It gets VERY crowded and they have been charging a 10$ cover since they reopened after the pandemic. It’s a country bar that turns into a top 40’s dance hall after 11:15pm.

One of the most popular gay bars in dallas is the Roundup Saloon. TMC is next door to S4, it’s got dancers and a good dj, it just got remodeled before the pandemic so it’s the newest looking of all the bars.

There’s JR’s which is more of a Sunday afternoon hangout spot that’s a good place to meet with friends if you’re all going out together but it’s not the best place to spend a ton of time but there’s no cover. It’s good to go there kind of early before they raise the cover charge and the line gets long to get a stamp so you can re-enter without waiting. There’s S4 which has the rose room upstairs for drag and is open until 4am on the weekends. There’s a group of 6 LGBTQIA+ bars all grouped together around cedar springs and throckmorton.
